HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! Last minute I found Ric with Olive Tree. He made time to do our ceremony just weeks away from our big day (The original officiant I met with flaked out last minute.) Ric was truly God Sent. So professional and made the process for a stressed out bride-to-be so easy. Very organized and prompt. The best part that stood out for me: it rained at the original ceremony site and he quickly went into action and went directly to the back up plan at last minute. We had our ceremony in a banquet room where the reception was planned. Everything turned out great. Everything he prepared for our ceremony was amazing. Thank you Ric for making our day magical!!
Ric was kind, easy to work with, and made our wedding ceremony beautiful. Our wedding was everything we had hoped for, and we will always look back on it fondly. It was a pleasure working with you.

Ashley and I gave great consideration to whom we would choose to officiate our wedding. Initially, both Ashley and myself were hesitant to even evaluate the potential of utilizing the services of a professional for fear that a stranger wouldn’t be able to project the intimate tone we wanted our ceremony to embody.
Thankfully, we chose to meet with Ric… Ric immediately put Ashely and my fears to rest. Ric has a warm ease about him and an open spirit that allows for the development of an easy rapport. Ric was able to walk us through the process from ceremony script development, rehearsal and a perfectly executed ceremony that embodied the exact tone and spirit we’d envisioned for our special day!

Ric Latendresse from Olive Tree Officiating was amazing! We wanted to do a very simple and small ceremony with just our parents present. Leading up to the ceremony, communication was seamless. Ric recommended our venue and made sure everything was set! Ric made sure our short ceremony was playful and personal. Everyone laughed and shed a tear all throughout. We would highly recommend him!

Exceptional! Ric put my mind at ease. After thinking about it, eloping during a pandemic after moving across state was a bit stressful, but with the help of Ric assisting with selecting the perfect space, securing a witness /photographer, along with offering up many different services that would otherwise be time consuming Ric was the MVP! He helped us create a perfect day I’ll always remember. Thank you so very much!
Dear Ric, I want to thank you for performing our marriage ceremony on our home patio. It was just as I had hoped it would be: simple and to the point. Your words were well said about marriage, love, friendship and commitment. It was the atmosphere we hoped for.
We came to California to elope at a courthouse but because of COVID they weren’t doing any ceremonies! We were on freak out mode and Ric was the first person we tried calling, his prices were phenomenal and he was able to do our wedding same day within a few hours of us calling him! I can not express the gratitude we have for him. Thank you so much for making our vacation/wedding the best it could have been.

We’re thrilled we hired Ric as our officiant! He wrote up a great script, helped us customize it to our liking, and delivered it perfectly. We debated for a long time about having a friend serve as our officiant but were ultimately glad we hired Ric because he had clearly done this a million times so had everything down to a science. He ran the rehearsal for us, was able to give us all the cues we needed during the ceremony, and improvised as needed (sorry about the fly!). We also were freaking out a bit at the rehearsal and he really calmed our nerves. Thanks Ric!

My wife and my self had an elopement because of active duty circumstances . Ric made this day extremely special, he came out in matter of 20 min because of problems with my military orders. Even recommend spots to get married to make this fast wedding more special. His recommendations were amazing and took a lot of the stress off of myself and my wife . Not having much time he took everything, made it into a fantastic ceremony.
Ric officiated our wedding and he was great. He helped me with all my questions regarding the process of obtaining a marriage license. He did have trouble pronouncing my fiance name but it was a good laugh during the ceremony. Thank you again!

Olive tree officiating is the way to go. Ric was very sweet and very helpful when it came to when, where, and how. The fact that Ric was able to meet up with my wife and i to marry us last minute for a great price blew my mind. Even though my husband and I had a simple elopement, Ric gave us his full attention, and even went above and beyond our expectations. From the beginning his emails were timely and responsive, our requests for venue and photographer recommendations were provided – with photos! -,and Ric worked with us in drafting the wording of the ceremony.
My husband and I decided not to hire a photographer, and we were so surprised when Ric offered to bring his adult daughter to take photos, and his three-year-old granddaughter as ring bearer! That was such a lovely gift that shows how dedicated Ric is in making sure this day is special.

We could not have made a better choice for an officiant for my daughters wedding. Since we live in Texas and the wedding was in California, we chose Ric without being able to meet him in person and only by phone calls, emails and looking at his website. I have to say I was worried about everyone we chose for the wedding since we could not meet anyone nor have friends that could recommend. Within minutes of meeting Ric the day before, I was relieved and knew we have made the right choice. Ric made you immediately feel comfortable and he did an excellent job on the ceremony.
